Fearlesssness

The spiritual theme for this week is fearlessness.

As a kid, I misunderstood courage. I thought courage, bravery, and boldness were all states of fearlessness. It took me a long time to understand that those states involve feelings of fear, and that even the adults I admired for their courage felt fear in many situations.

But many times in the Bible we’re told not to just act despite fear, but to actually be fearless. How do we do this? I think we get an important clue from the Book of Joshua.
